Every parcel mapped.
Every container proven.

From 30 December 2026, cattle, cocoa, coffee, palm oil, rubber, soy and wood can only enter the EU with proof of the land they came from. Bext360 maps each parcel at origin, checks it, carries it lot by lot to the port, and hands the importer an EUDR proof package with the container.

One bag of coffee, from the parcel to the cup

The regulation asks one question of every shipment: which land did this come from, and was it forest after 2020? We answer it where the data is born, once, and it travels on from there.

The EUDR proof package

Everything the importer needs, attached to the container

Built from data collected along the way, not chased after the ship has sailed. The statement reference goes on the customs declaration; the evidence stays on file for five years.

  • Geolocation of every plot (polygon over 4 ha, point up to 4 ha) or, for cattle, every establishment, with the production dates
  • Satellite evidence card for every plot: forest on 31 December 2020, loss since by source, the data versions used
  • Legality evidence: land rights, permits and the other laws of the country of production
  • Chain of custody: every lot, handoff and weight from plot to container
  • Risk assessment and mitigation record, kept for 5 years
  • Due diligence statement reference number for the customs declaration

Art. 4(2) and Annex II (statement), Art. 9 (information), Art. 10–11 (risk assessment and mitigation), Art. 26(4) (reference number to customs), 5-year record keeping.

Check a parcel. Trace the lot. Prove the container.

A satellite check on its own tells you about a piece of land. It cannot tell you that the beans in the container came from that land. Bext360 does both, in one system: the check is instant, and every kilo is tracked from the checked parcel to the EU port.

Run the check, then follow the parcel here.

  • Every kilo has a parcel. Lots record their parcels and weights at intake; transfers and processing carry them forward.
  • Volumes must add up. Out can never exceed in. Volume with no checked parcel is held, never blended in: mass balance is not allowed.
  • One bad parcel stops its lot. A high-risk parcel holds every lot that contains it, at the cooperative, before it reaches a container.
  • Sealed as it happens. Each handoff is sealed on a public ledger, so the record cannot be rewritten after the fact.
10 years tracing supply chains

One integrated system, from parcel to EU port

The check is only half of it. The tracking is what proves the container.

The EUDR does not ask whether some land is clean. It asks whether the product you place on the market came from clean land. That link is the tracking: every lot records which parcels it holds and how many kilos from each, at every handoff, and the volumes must add up.

Bext360’s own check

The satellite check

Bext360 checks every parcel itself, on public satellite data held in our own systems: the verdict is back in seconds, the full evidence with pictures inside a minute, and every parcel is checked again when new data comes out.

  1. 01

    Forest in 2020

How much of the parcel was forest on 31 December 2020, from the EU’s own 2020 forest map.

  2. 02

    Loss since

Any of that forest lost after the cut-off, as three independent sources see it: yearly loss maps, the tropical forest change map, and Sentinel-2 images of the last twelve months compared with 2020, which catch this year’s clearing before the yearly maps do.

  3. 03

    Low, medium or high

A fixed rule: loss confirmed by two sources is high and the lot is held; an alert from one source is medium and becomes a field check; nothing is low.

  4. 04

    Field check

Medium parcels go to the review queue: field staff take geotagged photos in the Origin app and the reviewer’s decision and reason are recorded.

  5. 05

    Evidence card

Per parcel: forest in 2020, loss by source, the 2020 and today images, the data versions and the rule version, sealed on a public ledger.

Shade-grown cocoa and coffee. Shade-grown cocoa and coffee look like forest from space. The check reads each parcel’s land history: trees that were already a farm before 2020 are the farm, not forest cleared later. Anything still uncertain goes to a field check; nothing uncertain is passed.

How we test the check

  • 54,171

forest clearings that people confirmed on high-resolution imagery, in Peru, Colombia, Bolivia and Indonesia

  • 40,319

cocoa and coffee farms mapped in Ghana and Colombia, which the check should leave alone

  • 1,280

EU reference points for forest in 2020, used only to measure the check, never to tune it

  • Held out

settings are chosen on one group of regions and scored on others they have never seen

What the tests taught us: the yearly loss maps miss most clearing from the current year until their next release. So every parcel is also compared with Sentinel-2 images of the last twelve months, and checked again when the yearly maps are updated.

Confirmed clearings: MapBiomas Alerta (Peru, Colombia, Bolivia, Indonesia). Farms: CERSGIS Ghana cocoa reference data and Alliance Bioversity–CIAT Sample Earth. Reference points: European Commission JRC. Results by country, with confidence intervals, on request.

The check gives evidence for your due diligence; it does not decide compliance. Our method, its data sources and versions are published.

Demo data: producers, parcels, lots, containers, weights and statement references on this page are invented. Places and ports are real. Legal facts verified 23 Oct 2026 against the consolidated text of Regulation (EU) 2023/1115; this page is not legal advice.

Two agents, always on

The rules move. The lots move. Both are watched.

The EUDR has already been amended twice and its annex recast. Ethica keeps your requirements current; the proof agent keeps every lot honest against them.

  • Watches the requirements

The regulation, its delegated and implementing acts, the Commission guidance and the country benchmark. A change becomes an updated requirement, with its source.

  • Watches the lots

Each requirement is checked against every open lot. Only lots missing the new evidence are flagged, and the request goes to the producer in the Origin app.

  • Keeps the proof current

When the satellite data or the rule changes, parcels are checked again and the evidence card records which version decided.

FAQ

EUDR questions we hear most

Does Bext360 make us EUDR compliant?

No software can. The operator who places the product on the EU market stays responsible for its due diligence. Bext360 collects and checks the evidence that due diligence needs, plot by plot and lot by lot, and keeps it ready for your statement, your buyers and the authorities.

Which plots need a polygon?

Plots over 4 hectares need a polygon with enough points to describe the boundary; plots of 4 hectares or less can be a single point. Cattle are different: the law asks for every establishment where the animals were kept. Coordinates need at least six decimal places. The Origin app records all of these, offline.

Where does the satellite check come from?

Bext360 runs it itself, on public satellite data: the EU’s 2020 forest map, yearly tree-cover loss maps, the tropical forest change map and Sentinel-2 images of the last twelve months, which catch this year’s clearing before the yearly maps do. The data is held in our own systems, so the verdict comes back in seconds and the full evidence inside a minute, and every evidence card records the data versions and the rule used. The check gives evidence for your due diligence; it does not decide compliance.

What about shade-grown cocoa and coffee?

From space, cocoa and coffee under shade trees can look like forest. The check reads each parcel’s land history, so a farm already planted before 2020 is recognised as the farm. When the signal is still uncertain, the parcel goes to a field check: geotagged photos in the Origin app and a recorded decision. Nothing uncertain is passed.

Can we mix compliant and unknown-origin product?

No. The Commission guidance says mass balance and percentage mixing with product of unknown origin does not meet the regulation. You can combine lots from many plots as long as every plot is listed. That is why unmapped volume is held, not blended in.

Our supplier is in a low-risk country. Is that the end of it?

No. In a low-risk country you can use simplified due diligence: no separate risk assessment and mitigation. But you still collect the geolocation and the other information, and you must show that the risk of mixing with product from other origins is negligible.

Are certification schemes enough?

Certificates help as one piece of information in the risk assessment, but they do not replace due diligence. Bext360 keeps them alongside the plot and lot evidence.

We buy from a trader. Do we still file a statement?

Since Regulation (EU) 2025/2650, downstream operators and traders no longer file their own due diligence statement, but they must keep the statement reference numbers from their supplier. Bext360 passes those references downstream with each lot.

What happens when the rules change?

Ethica watches the regulation, its delegated and implementing acts, the Commission guidance and the country benchmark. When something changes it updates the requirements and asks only for what your lots do not already hold.

30 December 2026 is close. Your parcels are where it starts.

We will map one of your corridors with you, from the farm to the EU port, and show you the proof package for it.
